“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: …For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. (Exodus 20:8-11)
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. (Psalm 95:6-7)
Location
The Madison East Seventh-Day Adventist Church
Located at 910 Femrite Drive, Monona, WI. We’re adjacent to the Edna Taylor Conservancy, where you can enjoy a walk with nature before, or after the service!
Monona is part of the greater Madison area.
9:30 – 9:45 | Welcome
Join us to open our worship service in the main sanctuary, where we’ll learn about church mission, hear testimonies, and get updates on the world-wide church
9:50 – 10:45 | Sabbath School
After the opening welcome, we break into small group Bible study. You’ll be able to find a group to study with, from toddlers to adults, and everyone in-between!
11-12:15-ish | Worship Service
The main worship service starts at 11, where we sing, hear stories, pray, read scripture, and listen to an uplifting Bible-based message. The end time varies, depending on the speaker.
Potluck
Join us on the 2nd Sabbath of every month for a delicious vegeterian and vegan meal. Bring a dish to pass if you’re a member, however, if you’re visiting for the first time, just bring your conversation! (there’s sure to be dessert as well!)

Madison East Church is part of a worldwide movement of believers, looking for the soon return of Jesus Christ. We are in the Wisconsin Conference, which is part of the Lake Union Conference of the North American Division of the World-wide SDA Church.
Church Doctrine
All Seventh-day Adventist doctrine comes from the Bible alone. Our first premise, is that the Bible is the true, inspired word of God. The second premise, is that the Bible interprets itself. “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept;…” (Isaiah 28:10)
Local Ministries
Ministry is the heartbeat of every church, and our church has several to choose from. Our ministries are inspired by biblical teachings, and all church members are encouraged to participate, to help them grow in their faith. Take a look, and see which one suits you!
